This weekend, Caleb and I headed over to Dover, Delaware for four days of camping and amazing music at the Firefly Music Festival. Caleb had surprised me with tickets back in February as an early 5 year anniversary present! I went back and forth trying to decided if I should bring my DSLR or not- and eventually decided to leave it at home and just grab some shots with my phone (which was pretty much dead the whole time!). It was perfect, though- because it allowed myself and Caleb to just completely enjoy the concerts and not have to worry about ANYTHING outside of the big dust bowl that we were dancing in.
Some of the incredible performances we saw included Outkast, Foo Fighters, Imagine Dragons, the Lumineers, Pretty Lights, Arctic Monkeys, Young the Giant, Tegan and Sarah, Local Natives, Girl Talk, The White Panda, Cash Cash, and a ton more! We had SO much food (a fried egg, bacon, and gouda covered waffle and mac n cheesesteak being some of my favs), lots of good beer (Hell or High Watermelon- heavenly), and danced so much that my feet looked like I hadn’t worn shoes in 2 months. It was an amazing weekend and I can’t wait to go to another festival next year! THANKS FIREFLY, YOU DA BOMB.
